Hi I haven't posted a blog in probably over a month. I've had a diet blog that's kept me busy. I started it May 4 and I weighed 244 and had a waist size of 41 inches. This past friday was my one month on the you on a diet and I weighed in at 230 and a waist size of 38. I feel so much better than I have in a long time. I am going to keep it up because I want to lose another 10 lbs.
I have energy now.
Sam has been playing tball. He seems to like it.
Jeff is still looking for a job.
Hope he finds something soon.

I started the you on a diet diet yesterday. I'm listening to the audio book and walking, dancing and dieting. Drinking lots of water.
My breakfast everymorning this week consists of whole wheat toast with peanut butter. I have a morning snack of a bannana. For lunch I have a frozen weightwatchers meal or salad. I get an afternoon snack of radishes and carrots. My dinner is either turkey rollups and salad or some vegetable chili made with turkey. For Dessert I get 1 square of dark chocolate and an evening snack of healthy popcorn or nuts or vegetables. I am already starting to feel it on the second day. I took 2 10 minute walks yesterday and danced in the restroom. I like to go to the restroom and put my headphones on some hip hop and just shake it. I usually do it for 10 minutes. I do at home in the evenings too. In the restroom noone can see me since they are individual restrooms and you can lock the door.
I weighed 242 lbs and have a 41 inch waist yesterday when I started. My goal is to lose 7 inches and lose 30 lbs and to feel a lot healthier.
I found out yesterday my blood test results say I have menopause. Not sure how I feel about that.

I am reading from my diary I started in 1999. This was my second diary. I haven't been able to find my first one. This diary is the 2nd chapter of my life

I have given up on winning the video blog awards. I just don't know that many people who would vote for me.
There was a full moon out this morning at 5 am. It had an orangish color to it. I love to look at the morning sky in the morning. I am always able to find the big dipper and casseopia. They are easily recognizable due to t heir shape and are always in the northern hemisphere. Casseopia looks like a giant M or a W. She is the queen, the lady in the chair. She is the wife of Cepheus who is also in the northern hemisphere and looks like a house. She thought she was so much more beautiful than anyone that the wives of Nures, a god of the sea took offense and Poseiden was angered. To punish her, her daughter Andromeda was chained to a rock of the coast as a sacrifice for a sea monster. Andromeda was saved from death by Perseus. To learn humility Cassiopeia was banned to the sky hanging half of the time head downward.

I nominated myself for Blogger awards. I hope I win. Not much has happened this week. Still waiting for my Aunt Ruby to show up but doesn't look like she's going to make it this month. Maybe she won't be coming anymore.
I was so tired this week and now I'm beginning to understand why I'm so tired all the time. Maybe it is that time for that natural process which every woman hopes doesn't happen. It's an end to one part of your life but also a beginning to another.
I had a nice visit with my mom last week. I only wish I would have had more money to do some fun things with her but she said she was glad to just get some rest. It's hard to believe she is going to be 80 this year.
I was able to get some photos of the moon this past weekend.

My First Video Blog

On monday there was a massacre at a college in Virginia. A gunman killed 33 people at Virginia Tech. It was so unbelievable and has been all over the news for days. It's all anyone can talk about. It took 2 days to figure out the identity of the killer who shot himself. It turned out he was a south korean with a green card over here. He had been in the states for 14 years. He was a loner and apparently nobody knew him and the ones that remember him say he was strange and stayed to himself. He apparently hated rich people and was taking medication for depression. My opinion on it is people made h im an outcast. I think someone made him so mad that it pushed him over the edge. American people don't realize people from different countries are so different. It's a cultural thing. You can say one thing to an american and they just get mad and shrug it off. You say something to an asian or anyone from a different country that doesn't understand our humor or ways then they take it differently. Asians are good for controling their temper because they hold it all in until one day they errupt.
We have to be careful how we treat people and what we say and how we say it or this tradgedy will occur again which is probably most likely.

Wow it's been a while. I forgot all about this blog until I read another blog and wondered if I still had this one. So much has happened in the last 6 months. Jeff lost his job in January. Which worked out well because Sam was having problems with Brianna. They are half brother and sister raised as cousins. Brianna is 7 and Sam is 4. She had been doing some inappropriate things to him. Her grandma watched Sam so they saw each other every day. It was best to keep them apart for a while. They do well now when they see each other. We keep a good eye on those two. I finally found out what was wrong with my ears. I have some kind of eczema otitis and the doc said I probably always had it. I can believe that because I've always had some type of dermatitis on my hands and feet. They have been flaring up lately.

Jeff has been home with Sam since January. It is now April. Don't ask me how we've made it on my check for the last 4 months. I don't know. The only way we made it was our tax refund but now it's run out and it's time for him to get off his ass and get a job. He did have to have surgery on his finger when he cut it in january and cut the tendon and nerve. But it's all healed up now.
He does keep the house clean and keeps sam at home all day. But I have to work about 60 hours every week.
I have been getting into my astrophotography lately. I went to an astrophotography conference in February and another one in March. The one in March was in Greensboro and I entered the lunar astrophotography contest and won 3rd place Here is the photo
